Professional Experience
Financial Services Experience (1999 - 2010)
I began my career at AllianceBernstein, an institutional money manager, where I analyzed large-cap growth stocks for a $15 billion fund and maintained the fund's quantitative investment model. My fundamental research was focused on companies that fell outside of the buyside research teams' coverage universe and scored favorably on our model.
After pursuing an MBA at NYU Stern, I joined Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs where I provided strategic advice and creative financing solutions to corporate clients in the consumer and retail industries.
Public Company Experience (2010 - 2021)
In 2010, I transitioned back into a buyside role at Pearson, a FTSE 100 education company with nearly $4 billion in revenue. While at Pearson, I was promoted to the Global Co-Head of Corporate Finance and Strategic Development where I led a team responsible for all acquisition, disposal, joint venture, and investment activities in the Americas.
In 2018, I was recruited by a former Goldman colleague to help build the corporate development team at Cognizant, a Fortune 500 professional services company providing digital transformation solutions to enterprise clients.
Sponsor-Backed Portfolio Company Experience (2021 - 2024)
After three years with Cognizant, I began my journey working with sponsor-backed companies to develop M&A strategy and end-to-end corporate development capabilities - from deal sourcing to transaction execution and post-merger integration. I was initially recruited by Eagleview Technologies, a Clearlake and Vista Equity portfolio company, and then joined Cornerstone-on-Demand following Clearlake's take private in October 2021. Most recently, I led Frontline Education's corporate development team as it re-imagined its strategy following the transition of ownership from Thoma Bravo to Roper Technologies.
